Background & Intention Behind the Work
This piece captures the very moment when a dream begins to move — as if the sensation itself spilled directly onto the canvas.
While creating it, I felt surrounded by a light and rhythmic atmosphere, as though music were drifting in from some faraway place. Rather than controlling it with thought, the colors and forms seemed to flow naturally, guided by the unseen melody.
The central character 夢 (“Dream”) isn’t merely a wish — it feels more like a soul’s impulse.
Though invisible, it rises from within us, resonating like a sound that only the heart can hear.
The numbers “432” and “444,” the blazing flames, the speeding car — each is a symbol meant to ignite motion in a felt dream.
Even if we don’t yet see the destination, the important thing is to take that first step.
This artwork gently reminds us: it’s in the movement that a dream transforms into light.
